RIP Scott Gorgius, Founding Member of Able Distributors
It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Scott Gorgius, a founding owner of Able Distributors who passed away Friday evening.
As one of the founders of Able Distributors, Scott started on day one with Andy Bleier–shoulder to shoulder–back when Able was a 1000 sq. ft garage selling HVAC parts on a side street off of Fullerton Ave. in 1980.
While Andy brought the fire and the mind of a contractor, Scott brought the knowledge and patience of an engineer.
For more than 30 years, Scott was the bedrock of our company, mentoring dozens of Able employees while assisting thousands of contractors. Always calm, always thoughtful, Scott was and will forever be the heart of our company.
He was greatly admired and will be greatly missed.
