ComEd Rebate Change on Oct. 1st
Today we have sort of a good news/bad news situation to report. The good news is that Able’s instant ComEd rebates are a smashing success and more homes than ever are enjoying efficient heating and cooling thanks to Bosch’s inverter-driven heat pumps. This means that you, our contractors, have installed a historic amount of heat pumps this summer and Able and ComEd have put a historic amount of money back into your pockets. The bad news is that ComEd has to scale back rebates for the remainder of 2023 starting on October 1st.
While suffering from success is never fun, there are a pair of silver linings.
- Any heat pump with an install date before October 1st, 2023, qualifies for the original rebate. This means that you still have over three weeks to purchase and install systems at the full rebate value.
- Our most popular Bosch system is the IDS 2.0 with a matched coil which only sees a reduction of $200.
