New Year, New Peerless – The Reliable Series MI-e Boiler
As standards and practices change and evolve, so to must the equipment developed under them. That, of course, is just a fancy way of saying that manufacturers frequently update product lines to ensure compliancy. While these incremental changes may not be as sexy as a brand-new technology, they are an important part of the HVAC ecosystem and providing a better product is always exciting. With that in mind, we’d like to tell you all about Peerless Boiler’s latest standard-efficiency product line: Series MI-e.
A New Component
As we alluded to in the first paragraph, Series MI-e boilers are the latest variant in Peerless’s venerable MI/MI85/MIHII family of boilers. The MI-e boilers have a minimum AFUE rating of 84%, ensuring that they comply with all 2021 regulations from the Depart of Energy.
While Peerless kept a lot of the classic components from their successful lines, they did upgrade one part in a major way; all Series MI-e boilers include a Hydrostat ic control from Hydrolevel. This integrated boiler control is an upgrade from the beloved Hydrostat 3200+. It provides all the functionality of an ignition module as well as the following:
- Flame Signal Display
- Low Water Cut-Off
- Boiler Reset
- Dual Circulator Outputs
- Perfect for DHW priority and zoned heating
- Easily programmable to fit nearly any piping design

The control may be different, but Series MI-e models bring back pretty much everything else that you love about Peerless boilers.
