A few months after installing a new cast iron boiler, the system suffered from a persistent, percolating noise. After contacting the manufacturer and discussing this with my supplier, Able Distributors, it was recommended to use the Fernox F1 cleaner , F5 treatment, & F2 silencer products. Within 24 hours the noise stopped completely. The directions for application on the container were easily followed and are spelled out slightly more specifically on the Fernox “How To Sheets” provided by my supplier, Able Distributors . Problem solved.
